Skirmish Competitor Divisions

Men’s Elite
Suggested Physical Abilities:

  • Ability to climb a rope in full kit (30#)

  • Generally in excellent physical condition, and able to complete functional fitness workouts “RX”

  • Be capable of lifting, running, and performing tasks a well rounded elite athlete should be able to complete.

  • You are signing up for an unknown challenge with some of the best tactical athletes in the world if you feel unprepared start with the intermediate division.

  • If you think your an elite athlete and have to ask… chose intermediate.

  
Women’s Elite

  • Ability to run a sub 10min/mile in full kit.

  • Ability to move a 125# sandbag (push, pull, lift to waist height).

  • Ability to climb a rope in full kit

  • Perform tasks with 50-100# for a duration of 8-12min consistently

  • Generally in excellent physical condition and able to complete “functional fitness” workouts RX.

  
Elite Shooting Standards (Men and Women)

  • 80% accuracy on an “A zone” at 15 yards with a pistol under extreme physical duress.

  • 80% accuracy on a “C zone” at 150 yards with a rifle prone under extreme physical duress.

  • These are not the smallest targets or furthest distances that will be shot, however will offer a decent guideline on your ability to perform from reasonable shooting positions.

  
Elite Notes

  • These weights are not used in every battle, if there is something you cannot do, you will not do well in that particular battle but does not mean your “out of the running.” 

  • Heavy weighted events are designed in an increasing weight manner, meaning the weights will start light then get heavier.

  • In Elite if you come to an obstacle or task that cannot be completed you will remain there until time expires.  There are no burpee options (squat thrusts with an additional stand between reps) to make up for missed obstacles.

  
Men's Masters 40+
Suggested Physical Abilities:

  • Sub 11min/mile in Full Kit

  • Ability to move a 170# sandbag (pull, drag, lift to waist height).

  • Ability to climb a rope in full kit.

  • Perform tasks with odd objects weighing 45-135# for a duration of 8-12 min consistently

  • Generally in good physical condition, and able to complete functional fitness workouts “RX” for age group scales

  
Men's Masters 50+ 
Suggested Physical Abilities:

  • Sub 11min/mile in Full Kit

  • Ability to move a 170# sandbag (pull, drag, lift to waist height).

  • Ability to climb a rope in full kit.

  • Perform tasks with odd objects weighing 45-135# for a duration of 8-12 min consistently

  • Generally in good physical condition, and able to complete functional fitness workouts “RX” for age group scales

  • Dissemble rule is allowed.  You may take an implement apart and take it piece by piece, however it must be carried with the original intent, e.g., if the weight as a whole was supposed to be carried overhead, the pieces must be carried overhead.

  • Burpee Options if tasks cannot be completed.


 Women’s Intermediate:

  • Ability to run a sub 12min/mile in full kit.

  • Ability to move a 105# sandbag (push, pull, lift to waist height).

  • Ability to climb a rope in full kit

  • Perform tasks with 45-85# for a duration of 8-12min consistently

  • Generally in excellent physical condition and able to complete “functional fitness” workouts scaled.

  • Dissemble rule is allowed.  You may take an implement apart and take it piece by piece, however it must be carried with the original intent.  i.e. If the weight as a whole was supposed to be carried overhead, the pieces must be carried overhead.

Novice Division (Men & Women)
Choose your own adventure.  This is not a competitive division, scores will be kept but no prizes are awarded.  You may opt out of any part of the battle you cant complete.
